Math Jump Start

Summer Program 2025

Dates will be announced in the Spring 2025

Incoming 4th-8th Grade Students

SCCS is delighted to introduce the new SCCS Math Jump Start Program.  This opportunity is aimed at supporting students in reviewing fundamental math concepts while providing a springboard for their academic advancement into the next grade level. This program not only is available for students wanting to review skills, learn concepts, and better prepare for the upcoming mathematical year, but it also meets the requirement of Summer School for students who are failing math at their current grade level. SCCS Math Jumpstart is available for students entering grades 4-8.

Please complete these two steps to register your child for this program:

  1. Payment link will be posted here in the Spring 2025.

  2. Registration information coming soon.

Key Features:

  • Enrollment: Students who are failing math are required to attend Jump Start as an alternative to Summer School.  Students who are struggling in math and receiving low MAP scores or poor grades are strongly encouraged to attend.  Enrollment will be for students entering into 4th-8th grades.

  • Curriculum: Jump Start Teachers will be using our current curriculum from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Math in Focus which is meticulously designed to cover essential math topics, ensuring a thorough understanding of foundational concepts.

  • Experienced Teachers: Our team is considered experts in mathematics and are passionate and dedicated educators eager to guide students in better mathematical understanding while making learning fun and applicable.

  • Session Days and Times: Jump Start Math is a summer school program. We understand the demands of students' schedules and offer a ten-day program purposely planned right before the start of the school year.  Dates and times will be announced in the Spring 2025.
