Ruth Marinca
Fifth Grade
My name is Ruth Marinca. I love Jesus, I love teaching, and I love SCCS! This year will be my tenth year as a classroom teacher. I have taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade. I am beyond excited to be back in Kindergarten! I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BA in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 2013. I also earned a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from National University in 2021. Before coming to SCCS, I worked for a clinic providing in-home behavior therapy for kids with autism and other developmental disabilities. This valuable experience led me back to the classroom with a fresh perspective and with a renewed passion for teaching! I believe that every child is uniquely created by God. Every year I look forward to learning who my students are and watching them grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually! My prayer is that by the end of the year, my students know who Jesus is and how much He loves them and wants them to walk in His ways!
